4H FUNDING APPLICATION

The Canadian Sheep Breeders' Association is an organization of over 1100 breeders of purebred sheep across Canada, representing over 50 breeds of sheep.  The CSBA is dedicated to working for the interests of sheep breeders across the country, whatever breed they may represent.

The CSBA has allocated up to $250 per province in its annual budget for the promotion of Canadian 4-H. Each province may submit ONE application, which best fits the criteria laid out by the CSBA.  In order to receive funding, the event must:

  • Involve 4-H sheep club members
  • Be a recognized Provincial-level show or special event
  • Promote the sheep industry
  • Display the CSBA’s logo
  • Provide/email a picture (>300dpi), which demonstrates the use of the funding, to the CSBA within a month of the event. The picture may be posted on the CSBA’s website.

Requests must be received by CSBA no later than February 1, 2024. Requests will be reviewed at the CSBA’s Annual General Meeting in March 2024 and provinces will be notified of funding in April 2024.
